Three Corner Jack was an Adelaide bush band formed in 1979 that lasted around twelve years. They played in hundreds of venues in urban and country South Australia, often in church halls and local institutes.
Leigh Newton was the key driver for the band over its lifetime. The self-titled album was the only one produced and published by the band in 1984.
The band’s configuration changed regularly over the years. They were a band of Christian musicians that mostly sang songs of peace and justice with a smattering of humorous and faith songs.
Artists on cassette cover (L-R):
Leigh Newton, Gerry Holmes, Maarten Ryder.
